Made with a focus on durability, performance, and ease-of-use, the Lite Steel Volleyball System weighs 34% less, on average, than a standard volleyball system. Each upright weighs about 49 lbs. Spring-loaded outer telescoping system adds stability while lessening deflection and bowing during play. The net is tensioned by a standard worm gear winch, mounted in a fixed position to the slide pole. Designed to be used with standard 3" floor sleeves. Includes visual settings to make height adjustments for men, women, and junior heights. Assist springs make height adjustments quick and easy. These descriptive height marks on the upright bases are calibrated to bring a correctly tensioned net once regulation height has been set. Requires 3" floor sleeves (sold separately). Not compatible with supported referee platforms. 10-year warranty on the poles and piston. Has nylon leader strap for easy net attachment. Worm gear winch is designed to eliminate backlash and keeps the net tight during intense play. Rope ratchet locking mechanism permits quick tightening of bottom ropes on the net.
